A Riverbed Case Study
SimplePay is an Australian payment‑processing start‑up that needed to move from bespoke, locally focused networking to a secure, reliable platform capable of supporting global growth. Its legacy infrastructure couldn’t be scaled or centrally managed without adding IT headcount, and the company needed to deploy application servers close to customers while meeting strict data‑security and availability requirements.
SimplePay partnered with AWS and deployed Riverbed SteelConnect SD‑WAN to create an encrypted, software‑defined backbone managed from a single console. The result: provisioning times dropped from months to minutes (new countries can be spun up in 15–20 minutes), capital infrastructure was eliminated, automatic scaling and global failover were enabled, and the company gained faster time‑to‑market, lower costs and reduced operational overhead.
