KLX Inc., a global leader in aerospace fasteners, consumables and logistics (and provider of oilfield services), needed to build a new IT environment after spinning off from its parent. With 110 facilities, nearly 4,000 employees and 800,000 SKUs supporting critical 4-hour to 20-minute SLAs, KLX faced challenges ensuring consistent application performance over a hybrid WAN, protecting data in remote sites, understanding software dependencies, and controlling infrastructure costs.
