Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A., one of Italy’s top construction firms with about 2,500 employees and projects across Europe and the Middle East, faced poor application performance for office and remote site staff. Employees working at temporary, often remote construction sites struggled to open large AutoCAD files and access centrally hosted or cloud applications due to limited or uneconomical bandwidth.

Pizzarotti deployed Riverbed Steelhead appliances at its Parma data center and selected sites (including a large Sicily project) to optimize WAN traffic.
