Future Publishing Boosts Efficiency and Enhances Digital Employee Experience with Riverbed Aternity

Future Publishing, the UK’s largest magazine publisher with more than 3,000 employees, needed better visibility into its PC estate and end-user experience to support flexible working and reduce IT issues that were hurting productivity. The company turned to Riverbed, using Riverbed Aternity as its digital employee experience (DEX) solution to monitor devices, applications, and network performance across its environment.

With Riverbed Aternity and support from Softcat, Future Publishing gained real-time and aggregated insight to identify, prevent, and resolve issues faster, including a silently crashing PC management tool and performance bottlenecks on widely used laptops. The result was improved productivity, better vendor accountability, and month-over-month improvement in DXI scores, including data showing Windows 11 devices scored about 10 points higher on average than Windows 10.
