Fortune 500 Financial Services Provider sought to unify 18 local mentoring programs into a single, enterprise-wide, employee-driven mentoring and social learning initiative for its 29,800 employees. To achieve broad scale and modern mentoring capability, the company selected River’s web-based social learning/mentoring SaaS platform.
River piloted the program for three months with 1,350 participants and then expanded company-wide, delivering an employee-driven platform that connected learners and advisors across locations and levels. Results include 4,375 participants, 1,013 active engagements, and 15% of employees involved in mentoring (with more than 8,000 employees incorporating the program into Q1 2012 performance plans), demonstrating River’s measurable impact on engagement, development, and cultural unity.
