River Logic built end-to-end optimization models that showed the flow of materials and activities through the mills and tested multiple scenarios. The results uncovered major upside, including a potential 65k-ton increase in production, $63 million in added Market Value, and $6 million in Operating Income in one scenario, plus a logistics opportunity that reduced distribution expense from $207 million to $194 million and could add $77 million in Market Value and $9 million in Operating Income.
