Riva Cloud seamlessly connects Citation’s Terminal Services environment with Salesforce

Citation, a UK-based provider of employment law and health and safety compliance services to more than 7,500 businesses, needed a way to sync Salesforce with Outlook in a Terminal Services environment. The company used Riva Cloud, but Salesforce for Outlook did not support the Terminal Services setup, creating problems for scheduling appointments and keeping calendars and mobile devices up to date.

Riva Cloud solved Citation’s synchronization challenges by connecting Salesforce directly with hosted Exchange 2010 in a server-side, bi-directional sync setup. With Riva, Citation was able to centrally manage calendar, task, contact, and opportunity sync for sales consultants without client-side plug-ins, while users gained reliable access from any device; the implementation was quick to configure, required little ongoing maintenance, and supported more than 7,500 businesses indirectly through better sales team productivity.
