National Equipment Rental Company, one of the largest equipment rental firms in the U.S., needed a better way to sync Microsoft Dynamics CRM with Exchange for 1,130 users across multiple devices and email platforms. Its existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook setup was difficult to administer, required installs on every desktop, laptop, and mobile device, and lacked the flexibility to filter contacts or sync custom fields.

The company implemented Riva as a server-side CRM and Exchange integration solution. Riva streamlined synchronization for Outlook on Windows and Mac plus iPad and iPhone devices, with no Outlook plug-ins to manage, and it reliably synced contacts, calendar, tasks, email, and custom fields. The results included overnight deployment to 2,400 iOS devices, support for about 10,000 CRM updates per day, and simpler administration as the organization grew from 800 to 1,130 users.
