Case Study: Leonidas achieves seamless Salesforce-IBM Notes integration with Riva

A Riva Case Study

Preview of the Leonidas Case Study

Master chocolatier, Leonidas, relies on Riva to integrate Salesforce with IBM Notes

Leonidas, the Belgian pralines manufacturer behind a global network of more than 1,300 stores, needed a way to connect Salesforce with its existing IBM Notes/Domino email and collaboration environment. Its district managers and in-store sales teams used iPads with IBM Notes Traveler, but the lack of seamless integration made tasks, meetings, follow-ups, and email management slow and prone to double data entry. Riva CRM Integration was chosen to solve the challenge.

Riva implemented server-side synchronization between Salesforce and IBM Notes/Domino, eliminating the need for client-side plug-ins and supporting desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including IBM Notes Traveler. With Riva, Leonidas synchronized calendar events, tasks, emails, attachments, and other CRM data, improving collaboration, speeding sales processes, and increasing Salesforce adoption. The result was better data availability across teams, less time spent on administration, and more complete CRM information for follow-up and customer management.
