GWAVA, a leading developer of messaging security and archiving solutions for Micro Focus GroupWise, needed a way to integrate Salesforce with GroupWise after its sales team migrated from GoldMine CRM. Because Salesforce did not support email natively, GWAVA wanted a seamless solution that would capture email, calendar, and address book data without disrupting the team’s familiar GroupWise workflow.
GWAVA implemented Riva Integration Server from Riva to provide server-side synchronization of emails, contacts, accounts, appointments, tasks, quotes, opportunities, and more between GroupWise and Salesforce. Riva eliminated the need for client-side plug-ins, improved CRM adoption, and saved significant time by automating data capture; GWAVA estimated that even 30 seconds saved per email across 50 emails a day equals 104 hours per salesperson per year, or 13 extra selling days.
