Xtras Accessories Increases sales by 93% in first quarter with ChannelAdvisor

Xtras Accessories is a family-run discount beauty retailer based in Leeds with 10 high-street stores and an online presence on its own site plus eBay and Amazon. After launching its e-commerce site the company found the platform couldn’t integrate with marketplaces, forcing manual listing and stock management across channels, causing oversells and limiting multi-attribute product listings so only about half its inventory could be sold online.

In May 2013 Xtras implemented ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces with Launch Assistance, automating listings, synchronising stock with Inventory Juggler and improving reporting. Within the first quarter sales rose 93%, revenue grew 50%, and the company progressed from a Silver to a Titanium PowerSeller on eBay, positioning it to expand into France and Germany.
