Woodbury Outfitters, a Cleveland-based sporting and outdoor retailer, had grown from an eBay seller into a large online merchant but was struggling with labor-intensive manual processes, misplaced orders and oversold inventory. Managing listings, inventory and fulfillment across channels consumed many resources and created frequent errors that harmed the customer experience.
The company implemented ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces and ChannelAdvisor’s Supply to Sell program with HubLogix to automate product listings, inventory syncing and order fulfillment across multiple suppliers and marketplaces (including Amazon and Trade Me). The automation allowed far greater SKU reach and supplier mapping, improving margins and eliminating oversells; results included roughly 300% year-over-year online sales growth, about 400% growth on Amazon and Supply to Sell accounting for 31% of total sales.
