Case Study: Forza Sports nearly triples marketplace sales with Rithum

A Rithum Case Study

Preview of the Forza Sports Case Study

Forza Sports Knocking Out the Competition on Marketplaces

Forza Sports, founded in 2008 by Jason Glime, is a sports equipment and apparel retailer that grew quickly after shifting sales to eBay while its original website launch stalled. Rapid eBay growth (about 20% month-over-month in year one) exposed inventory-management problems—overselling, manual counts and slow relisting—and an attempted order-management rollout failed to solve the issues.

Forza implemented ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces to automate listings and synchronize inventory across channels, enabling catalog expansion into team sports and launches on Newegg, Rakuten and Sears. The result: nearly triple overall marketplace sales, eBay listings climbed from ~5,600 to over 12,000, more than 500,000 eBay transactions, elimination of manual listing work, and actionable daily sales reporting.
