Best Buys Online - Customer Case Study

Best Buys Online, an Australian tools and equipment retailer founded in 1987, had moved from brick-and-mortar to online but was hampered by an inefficient, in-house listing process. Manual coding and per-item templates made selling on marketplaces time-consuming, costly, and difficult to scale.

In 2007 the company adopted ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces to manage listings centrally, enabling instant, global updates (for example, swapping a banner across 900+ live eBay ads to meet a new policy). The automation cut time and wage costs, improved fulfillment and pricing agility, drove significant eBay growth, and positioned Best Buys Online to expand to additional marketplaces.
