Basco, a 60-year-old manufacturer of custom shower enclosures, moved into e-commerce to reach DIY customers but ran into challenges: its product line has many variations and required standard SKUs for online sales, and initial in-house and small-agency Amazon efforts weren’t delivering the competitively efficient results the team needed.
Basco partnered with ChannelAdvisor’s Managed Services for Amazon Advertising to optimize Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, target replacement-part searches, and combine bid automation with manual campaigns to match customers to the right SKU. The change cut ACoS from 55% to below 12% and drove a 141% increase in sales, with ChannelAdvisor functioning as an extension of Basco’s e-commerce team.
