The State of Arizona Improved Risk Visibility & Protection with RiskSense

The State of Arizona, through its Arizona Strategic Enterprise Technology (ASET) office, needed better visibility into its security risk across 133 agencies and 100,000 assets. With agencies operating separately and no consistent metrics in place, the state lacked clear insight into its biggest vulnerabilities and how to protect critical systems. RiskSense helped address this challenge with its RiskSense Platform and RS³ Security Score.

RiskSense implemented a cloud-based platform that consolidated vulnerability data into a single pane of glass, highlighted business-critical risks, and provided scoring to track agency performance over time. The solution helped Arizona respond to the Bash Bug before attackers could strike, reduced the need to use 15 different platforms, and improved executive communication around risk. One agency increased its RS³ score from 568 to 762 in 60 days, and the state set a goal of reaching 700 for every agency.
