CenturyLink, one of the world’s largest communications, hosting, cloud, and IT services companies, needed a single vulnerability and remediation management solution that could scale across 55 data centers and a 300,000+ node environment. The company also required a platform that could understand node criticality for homeland security and energy grid protection, handle large volumes of security data, and support both advanced and non-technical users.

RiskSense partnered with CenturyLink to deploy an independent iteration of the RiskSense Platform tailored to its complex environment, with enhanced filtering, workflow tools, and user training for all levels. The solution launched successfully in January 2014 and gave CenturyLink a single system for managing cybersecurity activities across all business lines, improving remediation efforts, reporting, and long-term visibility into cyber risk.
