Elbit Systems, an aerospace and defense company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas with 3,600+ employees, faced the challenge of managing risk across hundreds of complex, program-focused projects while still getting a unified view for leadership. To address this, Elbit Systems implemented Riskonnect’s Active Risk Manager (ARM) more than a decade ago to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and to ensure compliance with standards like AS9145.

Riskonnect’s ARM provided a shared risk library, single-entry lessons-learned that propagate across programs, linked compliance tracking, KPIs for program health, dashboards, alerts, and targeted training for users and superusers. As a result, ARM is ingrained in Elbit Systems’ culture: standard ARM reports (total risk list, risk health tracker, risk tracker) are now a mandatory part of leadership’s monthly program management reviews, dashboards give instant visibility across programs and the portfolio, and leadership can drill down into actions or roll up exposure—maturing Elbit Systems’ risk management capability.
