ConAgra Foods, a large food producer with more than 33,000 employees, 100 manufacturing plants and an extensive supplier network, faced fragmented risk management driven by a legacy RMIS, spreadsheets and documents and lacked clear business continuity processes and visibility into risk relationships across plants and suppliers. To address this, ConAgra Foods engaged Riskonnect and deployed Riskonnect GRC (along with Riskonnect Alerts and eSignature) to centralize risk data and automate continuity workflows.

Riskonnect implemented GRC, Alerts and eSignature to document critical plant processes, link finished goods to suppliers and brands, and trigger prebuilt workflows when incidents occur. The result: what once took two to three months to gather and input data now takes about a day and a half per plant, faster alerts and response via Riskonnect Alerts, elimination of spreadsheet/version-control issues, clearer top-20 risk tracking, and improved planning and communication through Riskonnect’s eSignature and reporting capabilities.
