Ameriprise Financial operates an onsite healthcare clinic where employees report potential workers’ compensation claims. Their existing intake process was time-consuming and prone to data integrity issues, so Ameriprise implemented the Riskonnect Workers’ Compensation solution to automate intake, improve incident reporting, routing and escalation, and ensure compliance.
Riskonnect deployed an incident intake portal that auto-populates employee details (and pulls company property data via the integrated Riskonnect Asset and Property Management solution), submits claims directly to the TPA system, and sends automatic notifications to employees and supervisors. The result was greatly improved data integrity, a faster intake process with significantly fewer follow-up questions, and higher employee satisfaction with Ameriprise’s workers’ compensation experience.
