Skullcandy, the lifestyle audio brand based in Park City, Utah, wanted to improve authorization performance and unlock more revenue without increasing fraud. Riskified helped Skullcandy refine fraud-prevention settings, recalibrate approval thresholds, and add a secondary review step for certain declined transactions. As a result, Skullcandy achieved a 4X increase in approved revenue, sustained an average chargeback rate of just 0.06% over 12 months, and cut decline rates as low as 0.1%, while also reducing false-positive support tickets.
