Case Study: MTC strengthens Covid-safe working with Riskex Safe2Day

How our Covid health surveillance system, Safe2Day has helped MTC to support their employees with virus-related vulnerabilities and “Covid Anxiety”

MTC, a provider of justice services in the UK with a 1600-strong workforce, faced the challenge of adapting its health and safety practices to manage COVID-19 risks. They needed a rapid and effective solution to support their 'people first' safety culture, provide employees with confidence, and address the disproportionate impact of the virus on vulnerable individuals. To meet this need, MTC turned to their existing EHS provider, Riskex, to implement a tailored health monitoring solution.

Riskex collaborated with MTC to enhance and deploy its Safe2Day health assessment tool. The solution provided a quick self-assessment questionnaire, management dashboards, and tools for creating personal action plans. The results showed great employee engagement, with staff feeling supported and safe, which the company believes has helped reduce anxiety and potential sickness. MTC continues to expand its use of the Riskex platform, planning to add further health and safety modules.
