Blumenthal Performing Arts, a Charlotte-based presenter and home to several leading arts organizations, faced a communications problem: they relied on printed calendars and DVDs to promote events, but paper went out of date quickly and DVDs were cumbersome to distribute and often failed to play. With content arriving from many sources and six venues across three campuses, the center needed a more flexible, scalable way to share schedules, wayfinding and video content.

They implemented a cloud-based digital signage network using Rise Vision, growing from one display to 31 (including portable screens and an interactive Spirit Square kiosk) and working with a creative team to build touch-enabled video content about local artists. The system improved accessibility and wayfinding, increased awareness of programming, and requires only 1–2 hours per week from a five-person team to keep content fresh, with continued expansion planned.
