Case Study: MoneyNetint gains new global payment corridors and cuts cross-border costs with Ripple (RippleNet)

A Ripple Case Study

Preview of the MoneyNetint Case Study

RippleNet gives MoneyNetint easy access to new corridors.

MoneyNetint, a U.K.-based financial services company founded in 2004 that provides cross-border receipts and payments to corporate clients worldwide, needed to give new and existing customers more places to receive and disburse funds to stand out in the competitive cross-border payments market. To do this it turned to Ripple and its RippleNet service to access additional payment corridors and local payout capabilities.

Ripple enabled MoneyNetint to plug into a pre-existing network that localizes payments—letting clients receive Euros, sterling and other currencies into multi-currency accounts and send funds globally—delivering faster, cheaper transactions. The integration went live in six weeks, and MoneyNetint now handles about 2,000 monthly transactions from Brazil to Europe, opening new corridors that help expand local operations and attract new clients.
