A Ripple Case Study

Preview of the Sentbe Case Study

Ripple helps Sentbe provide faster, cheaper and convenient remittances for migrant workers in Korea

Sentbe, a Korea- and Singapore-based online international remittance provider, faced the challenge of giving migrant workers faster, cheaper and more convenient ways to send money home while eliminating hidden costs, multi-day transaction times and poor sender/receiver experiences. To address these issues Sentbe partnered with Ripple and adopted RippleNet to streamline cross-border connections.

Ripple implemented RippleNet’s standardized integrations to connect Sentbe quickly with banks and financial institutions across the region, enabling better FX hedging, optimized routing and mobile/online transactions. As a result, Sentbe now supports 17 corridors, the typical remittance reaches recipients in about 5 minutes, and customers have saved an estimated $25M on FX conversion and transaction fees thanks to Ripple’s solution.
