MoneyMatch and Ripple make it cheaper and faster for Malaysian SMEs to pay global suppliers

MoneyMatch, a Malaysia-incorporated fintech company, needed a better way to help SMEs and individuals in Malaysia make cross-border payments without the high transfer fees and FX rates charged by traditional banks. To address this challenge, MoneyMatch worked with Ripple and its RippleNet payments network to improve its international payment offering.

Using Ripple’s payments network, MoneyMatch connected with financial institutions and payment providers worldwide through a standardized integration process. The result was a faster, more affordable service with same-day settlements and up to 40% lower transfer costs, helping MoneyMatch move more than MYR 1.3 billion and serve customers sending money to 120+ countries.
