DZ BANK pioneers institutional digital asset custody offering with Ripple Custody

DZ BANK, a leading German financial institution, wanted to build a secure digital asset custody offering that could fit smoothly into existing capital market processes. To meet this challenge, DZ BANK partnered with Ripple and used Ripple Custody to support the custody, settlement, and management of crypto securities such as tokenized bonds under German eWpG law.

With Ripple’s digital asset software infrastructure, DZ BANK launched its institutional digital custody platform, adding blockchain analytics and wallet management to its services. The bank went live in under 10 months and is now able to serve clients with digital asset custody and settlement, helping modernize asset management and improve efficiency for institutional use.
