Tishman Speyer sought to create a biophilic workplace that reconnected its employees with nature at its New York headquarters in Rockefeller Center. To realize this vision, they partnered with the vendor RIOS, who provided landscape architecture services to integrate an immersive layer of greenery into the urban office environment.

RIOS designed an interior landscape framework inspired by Manhattan's ecology, with planting zones tailored to interior microclimates. This solution concentrated greenery in shared and circulation areas across three office levels, ensuring nature was in view from nearly every workspace. The result is a workplace that feels consistently green and open, balancing ecological storytelling with practical performance and simplified maintenance for the high-occupancy environment.
