Travel Leaders, formed in 2008 from the merger of Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates, TraveLeaders, and Tzell Travel Group, is the largest travel agency franchise network in North America with over 1,250 locations and a headquarters in Roswell, Georgia. With about 75 employees and contractors—and roughly 80% of staff working remotely—the company struggled with five different phone systems that made interoffice communication and call transfers impossible, harming customer service and collaboration.
Travel Leaders implemented RingCentral Office® to unify communications across offices. The cloud-based system and intuitive web/mobile administration let non-IT staff manage settings remotely, while features like call grouping reduced wait times and ensured calls are answered within three rings. As a result, dispersed employees across 10 U.S. states and one international location remain reachable without using personal numbers, improving customer service and internal connectivity.
