Rokstar Events is a small New Jersey-based event services company whose CEO, Brandon Padula, juggles running the business with full-time studies. The company needed to automate phone-based lead management, route calls to mobile contractors, and track missed calls, voicemails, and customer data—preferably via iPhone—without building a telephony system from scratch.

Rokstar implemented RingCentral’s cloud phone service and mobile apps, assigned extensions and temporary numbers, and integrated the RingCentral API into its custom PHP/MySQL CRM to log missed calls and perform reverse-number lookups. The result was faster, more informed callbacks, streamlined lead routing and contractor contact, and a mobile-friendly, automated workflow that preserved Rokstar’s tailored CRM while avoiding a homebuilt telephony solution.
