Public Sector Partnership Services (PSPS), a Local Authority Trading Company owned by three Lincolnshire councils, needed to replace a tired and costly on-premises phone system while supporting hybrid working and improving service efficiency across shared public services. Working with RingCentral, PSPS aimed to help local authorities do more with less and demonstrate the value of public spending.

RingCentral implemented its communications platform to modernize PSPS’s telephony and support better collaboration across the councils. The solution helped maintain customer experience in hybrid working environments and enabled PSPS to use data to improve efficiency and service design. As a result, the councils have saved around £23m between 2010 and 2020, with a further £9m in savings expected by 2030.
