A RingCentral Case Study
Casey Cardinia Libraries (CCL), one of Victoria’s largest public library services in Melbourne’s southeast, needed a more flexible and resilient communications system. Its legacy hub-and-spoke telephony setup depended on on-site hardware, lacked remote access and transparency, and could take 72 hours for basic changes, creating operational challenges for staff serving more than 460,000 community members.
RingCentral provided a cloud-based unified communications solution, with key integration to Microsoft Teams, so CCL’s phone system could better support its cloud-first way of working. The result was improved continuity, flexibility, and easier call handling for staff on the move, while reducing the limitations and maintenance burden of the old system.
