The Perryman Company, a U.S. manufacturer of titanium coil, bar and related specialty-metal products, was struggling to capture supplier invoice data and enter it into its Aptean ERP system. After an unsatisfactory first automation attempt, Perryman turned to Rillion to handle high-volume invoice processing, using Rillion’s Invoice Capture, Invoice Processing, Contracts and PO Matching modules to address about 25,000 invoices per year for roughly 300 users.

Rillion implemented automated invoice capture and validation (achieving about 95% accuracy), a dashboard queue, automated PO matching with variance-based automatic approvals sent to Aptean, and contract-based matching for recurring invoices (with the ability to generate internal invoices when needed). The solution delivered seamless Aptean integration, reduced AP administrative time, a paper-light process, clear exception workflows for staff, and high user satisfaction (96%), improving efficiency across Perryman’s accounts payable operations.
