Deckers Brands, a global footwear and apparel company, wanted to make its websites faster and better understand how performance changes affected customers. The team needed a clearer view of how fast the sites were, what needed improvement, and where to focus efforts for the biggest impact.
To do that, Deckers Brands used Rigor’s synthetic monitoring alongside SOASTA’s real user monitoring. With Rigor, the team set performance budgets, created an SLA for third-party pixels to load within 500 milliseconds, and used data to compare results over time. As a result, Deckers reduced third-party pixels from 35 to 25 and gave stakeholders clearer, more measurable reports on website performance.
