SENATOR INTERNATIONAL, a global air- and sea-freight forwarder, needed to accelerate customs and bonded-warehouse processing—especially AES exit procedures—and tightly integrate customs handling with its existing logistics system to realize time and cost savings. After a competing system failed to meet AES performance needs, SENATOR INTERNATIONAL selected Riege Software and its customs product Scope to address the challenge on a tight timetable.

Riege Software implemented Scope with a new customs interface, one-time-data-entry integrations and an intuitive desktop that embedded ATLAS procedures into SENATOR INTERNATIONAL’s workflows. The deployment enabled up to 20,000 declarations per month from 300 workstations across 12 branches, cut several hours from weekend consol processing, met accelerated timelines ahead of schedule, and delivered immediate return on the Scope investment.
