Case Study: Globaltrans achieves high data quality and reduced employee workload with Riege Software's Scope

A Riege Software Case Study

Preview of the Globaltrans Case Study

Scope Provides High Data Quality and Reduces Globaltrans Employee Workload

Globaltrans, a Düsseldorf-based freight forwarder founded in 2004 with about 45 staff and growing international volumes, needed to improve service quality, reduce routine employee workload and meet paperless e‑freight requirements. To address these challenges, Globaltrans adopted Scope, the transport management system from Riege Software.

Riege Software implemented Scope to automate processes and speed up data transmission, delivering markedly higher data quality and significantly reducing staff workload so employees can focus on customers and new business. Scope enabled Globaltrans to meet IATA e‑freight standards and in September 2011 received “green light” approval from Lufthansa Cargo and Air Canada; Lufthansa praised the excellent data quality, and Globaltrans now recommends Riege Software’s Scope to partners.
