EMO-TRANS Germany navigates to a secure future switching from Procars to Scope

EMO-TRANS, a long-established global logistics provider, needed to modernize its transport IT after decades on PROCARS. Working with Riege Software, EMO-TRANS chose to migrate to PROCARS’ successor, Scope, and faced the challenge of switching 5 entities and 13 branches within a tight timeframe while developing a complex consolidation module that required multiple test phases.

Riege Software implemented Scope as a SaaS solution, provided training and Helpdesk support, and delivered features like daily rate imports, a new quotation module, enhanced CRM, interfaces (including to accounting system egeko), Scope Connect and real‑time dashboards. The move eliminated in‑house hardware and onsite backups, reduced ongoing maintenance costs, increased resilience, and achieved broad user adoption—187 employees across 14 branches went live between summer 2014 and spring 2015—delivering clearer operational insight and smoother daily operations.
