KINTO, a mobility services provider, aimed to promote a shared and sustainable future by understanding the needs of non-vehicle owners and launching a car sharing service to reduce urban congestion and CO₂ emissions. To support this initiative, KINTO partnered with the vendor Ridecell.

Ridecell's solution enabled KINTO Sweden to launch and scale its car sharing program with a fleet of environmentally-friendly vehicles, including hybrids, hydrogen, and electric vehicles. The program began with 40 vehicles and successfully grew to 800, significantly reducing emissions. A key measurable impact is that KINTO became the only car sharing company operating fuel cell vehicles that clean their emissions and return water to the environment, contributing to healthier air quality.
