Case Study: Vodafone Group achieves lower carbon emissions and print costs with Ricoh International

A Ricoh International Case Study

Preview of the Vodafone Group Case Study

Vodafone Group - Customer Case Study

Vodafone Group wanted to lower the carbon footprint, total cost of ownership, and security risks of its global office printing while improving service delivery through a managed print service. The company’s fragmented mix of printers, scanners, copiers, and faxes made it difficult to control output and support its “Less Paper Office” Green IT initiative.

Ricoh International implemented a globally scalable managed print solution using standardized, energy-efficient multifunction devices, on-site support, and software such as Streamline NX and @Remote. Ricoh International helped Vodafone Group increase the employee-to-device ratio by 300% to 60:1, reduce paper consumption by up to 75% in some regions, cut annual print costs per user by about 50%, and lower CO2 emissions by nearly 3 million kilograms per year.
