Leading Retail Bank, a major retail bank sending more than 500 million documents a year, wanted to rationalise in-plant print services, increase flexibility and capacity, produce multi-format output, and reduce overheads and postage costs. The bank also needed to improve the impact and integrity of its customer communications across its transactional document production.

Ricoh International implemented a pre- and post-processing print management solution using InfoPrint® ProcessDirector™ and postal optimisation tools. This created an Automated Document Factory with unified workflows, multi-printer balancing, digital and printed output, and better mailing efficiency; as a result, the bank improved production capacity, increased flexibility, reduced costs, and was able to close one production centre while lowering postage spend.
