Debeka, one of Germany’s largest financial services groups, needed to modernize a fragmented, multi-vendor document infrastructure that was costly to maintain, hard to use across sites, and lacked secure, centrally managed printing. The company turned to Ricoh International for a more homogenous, enterprise-wide document solution, including Managed Document Services and multifunctional products.

Ricoh International implemented a bespoke MDS solution with more than 1,200 networked Ricoh MFPs across Debeka’s headquarters and 260+ field offices, integrated with the Linux environment and secure print workflows. The result was simpler document processes, higher productivity, stronger document security, reduced device counts and maintenance costs, and lower power use and carbon emissions; Ricoh’s @Remote and fleet reporting also helped optimize usage and control costs.
