AkzoNobel - Customer Case Study

AkzoNobel, the world’s largest coatings company and a leader in specialty chemicals, needed to rein in an expensive, uncontrolled print and reprographics environment that had grown organically across its global offices. With stand-alone printers driving up costs, waste, and carbon emissions, the company turned to Ricoh International and its green-office solution to improve efficiency, security, and sustainability.

Ricoh International implemented a secure print environment using color-capable multifunctional products and Output Management and Security software. The solution removed many desktop printers, reduced MFPs by a third, cut print and reprographic spending by 18%, and lowered paper consumption by 15%, while also reducing toner use and CO2 emissions.
