A Ribbon Communications Case Study

Preview of the Telnet Worldwide Case Study

Telnet Worldwide - Customer Case Study

TelNet Worldwide, Inc. is a full-service provider of voice and data communications for business customers, and it needed to advance its converged network strategy while simplifying operations, handling growing traffic, and supporting new VoIP services. To address these goals, TelNet turned to Ribbon Communications and its C3 Gateway Controller with G9 Converged Gateways, later adding Ribbon’s S3 Session Border Controller to strengthen its IP and voice interconnection strategy.

Ribbon Communications implemented a scalable softswitch and SBC-based solution that gave TelNet secure, flexible routing, VoIP translation, least-cost routing, and strong access/core interconnection capabilities. The result was a more streamlined and future-proof network with improved support for IP-to-IP interconnection, SIP trunking, and carrier VoIP peering. While the case study does not provide numerical metrics, TelNet reported significant ROI benefits from Ribbon’s pay-as-you-grow platform and the ability to expand services without adding unnecessary complexity.
