Telia Carrier, a major global communications provider operating a large IPX network, sought to add 4G/LTE Diameter signaling capabilities to support mobile roaming. Ribbon Communications implemented its DSC 8000 Diameter Signaling Controller, which provided centralized routing to simplify the network. This enabled Telia Carrier to rapidly launch its Diameter Roaming Exchange (DRX) service ahead of competitors.
