Bet365, a leading online gambling group, faced the challenges of massive concurrent players, real‑time odds calculation, session and player-data scale, and the need for high availability, low latency and agility for fraud detection and regulatory change. To address this, Bet365 selected Riak’s distributed database, Riak KV, to replace traditional relational systems that couldn’t meet those demands.
