FleetPride, a large distributor of trucking parts with more than 160 locations, needed a secure, cost-effective way to run internal training and provide external web access for national accounts and sales divisions without opening its entire network. After evaluating hosted and pay-per-use options, FleetPride selected R-HUB Communications’ TurboMeeting Web conferencing servers for their ease of use, control, security, and lower ongoing costs.

R-HUB Communications deployed on‑premise TurboMeeting units (a TurboMeeting 500 for large internal meetings and a TurboMeeting 200 for limited external access), configured in the DMZ to preserve security. FleetPride used the system for IT help desk support, corporate and sales training, payroll and finance training, and more — completing physical inventory training across all 160+ service centers in six days, supporting training for thousands of users, and achieving travel-cost savings that paid for the TurboMeeting 500 within months while eliminating monthly conferencing fees.
