AltaPointe Health Systems Supports Multiple Locations

AltaPointe Health Systems, a regional community behavioral health provider with more than 700 staff serving over 15,000 people annually, needed better remote IT support and a way to run regular web conferencing and desktop-sharing training across multiple sites. Their existing VPN was too slow and travel for in-person training was costly and time-consuming. To address this, AltaPointe evaluated and deployed a solution from R-HUB Communications, using the RHUB TM500 Real-Time Collaboration Hub and TurboMeeting applications.

R-HUB Communications delivered the TM500 appliance (five meeting rooms, support for 20 users) and enabled both Remote Support and TurboMeeting Web Conferencing. The appliance eliminated the low-bandwidth bottleneck, provided web-like speed and simple link/ID connections, and supported concurrent remote support and training sessions. As a result, AltaPointe reduced travel and training costs, increased staff productivity and efficiency, achieved 100% uptime, completed quick installation with no ongoing IT support needs, and rolled out the solution to all remote sites.
