Case Study: Trinity Covenant Church achieves maximum comfort with Ruud HVAC solutions from Rheem Manufacturing Company

A Rheem Manufacturing Company Case Study

Trinity Covenant Church upgrades 31,500-sq.-ft. campus with 97.5 tons of Rheem HVAC

Trinity Covenant Church in Salem, Oregon, faced significant HVAC challenges in their multi-use building. The two-floor facility, used for worship and extensive community programs, had an improperly zoned system causing extreme temperature imbalances; second-floor classrooms would reach 80 degrees while first-floor offices were freezing. To solve this, the church partnered with Rheem Manufacturing Company, working through contractor Focus Heating & Cooling and distributor Mar-Hy, to design a new system using Ruud commercial HVAC equipment.

The solution implemented by Rheem involved installing nearly 100 tons of Ruud Renaissance and Resolute commercial packaged units across nine systems. This allowed the building to be rezoned with separate controls for each floor. The results eliminated cold drafts in the gym and the need for space heaters in the offices, providing consistent, comfortable temperatures throughout. The congregation and community now enjoy a reliably comfortable space for all activities, demonstrating the successful outcome delivered by Rheem.
