A RGIS Case Study

Preview of the DIY Retail Group Case Study

DIY Retail Group updates 100% of store plans in 3 months with RGIS

The DIY Retail Group required accurate, current AutoCAD store layouts across 130 stores to support the deployment of a customer-facing app with Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) geolocation. This needed to be completed within a tight three-month deadline to improve in-store navigation and support merchandising plans. They partnered with RGIS due to its specialist survey capabilities and existing knowledge of their store layouts.

RGIS deployed teams across the country to conduct surveys using laser meters and SmartSpace. The solution delivered 100% of the updated store plans within the deadline. This enabled the customer to successfully implement their app's geolocation feature, allowing shoppers to find products in real time. The project's success strengthened the client relationship and positioned RGIS as a key strategic partner in their digital retail transformation.
