Xerox Canada Gains Total System Solution with RFgen Mobile Development Studio

Xerox Canada faced an aging, closed Legacy mainframe and outdated warehouse wireless/handheld hardware that left receiving, shipping and inventory processes unreliable and hard to maintain. RFgen Software built a complete shipping, receiving and inventory solution that tied Xerox’s equipment and parts to their enterprise data, enabling rapid app development and easy customization. As a result, Xerox’s IT staff now support the RFgen tool set and can make minor enhancements in-house, new applications are delivered in days or weeks, warehouse workers reached productivity quickly, and the company reported improved reliability, productivity gains and significant time-and-cost savings — with plans to expand RFgen Software usage further.
